Statement

The photoblog project is a good opportunity for us to focus on the natural environment. We have a subject—the natural sceneries and animals. People who live in big cities may not have much time to be affected by colorful natural environment. Thus, we plan to make a group of images to show how beautiful the natural scenery and animals are.
The first three photos are different animals and the last three are some natural scenery.  Firstly, we went to the Desert Museum in Tucson and took the photo of hamster in there. We use a weekend to drive to California; it has beautiful scenery which is close to the beach. the seagull and sun set photos were taken at La Jolla Beach at San Diego and the koala one was taken in San Diego Zoo. After we drove back, we saw a small desert near I-8.We took that desert photo when we pull off stuffs and walk into the desert. The last photo, antelope canyon, was taken at lower antelope canyon in Arizona in spring break.
We choose the hamster one because it is the most pretty image that record how the hamster look for food, eat it and scratch. As the national treasure of Australia, koala is very lazy and cute. We stayed there about half hour hopefully to take some photos but basically they were just sleeping. Only one or two woke up and scrapped faces and then slept again. It's also used the technique as the photo of seagull so only the koala is clear but others are not. Antelope Canyon is really enigmatical and unimaginable for us. We choose that photo because we want to share this amazing scenery for everyone. Our intention is try to let people aware that the natural things are important for us; staying with them will relax you and give a special feeling to you.

Hamster

We took this photo in Desert Museum. It's one of series of photos that record how the hamster look for food, eat it and scratch. We choose the most pretty one that it was eating something. Is its action like a small baby?

Koala

This photo was taken in San Diego Zoo.

Seagull

This photo was also taken at La Jolla Beach. I took focus on a seagull that only showed its head and back part of its body. Then the sea and plants were not on focus.

Desert

When the time we drove back from San Diego via I-8, at the border of California and Arizona, we saw the desert. Then we pull of and walk into the desert. Then we had this photo.

Sun Set

This photo was taken at La Jolla Beach at San Diego, California. The reason we like the photo is the photo has couple elements that combine together. There are sun, clouds, sea and birds. We think the combination makes the scenery more beautiful.

Antelope Canyon

This photo was taken at Lower Antelope Canyon. Lower Antelope Canyon is located under ground, so it needs to take photos at right time due to the sunlight can only shine in the canyon for short time period. I took the shot at about 11:00 am so the sun was basically right on the top of the canyon. Then I can took a photo that clearly show the shape and color of the canyon.
